Services

Marketing services for trade contractors, measured in booked jobs

Website content, SEO, paid ads and revenue leak remediation for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing and landscaping companies. Two people doing the work ourselves, reporting in calls and booked jobs.

Where we fit

Between the first search and the booked job

Many contractors buy marketing in pieces. A website from one company, SEO from another, ads from whoever called last, and nobody looking at what happens when the phone actually rings. Each vendor reports its own number, and none of those numbers is a booked job.

We work on the whole path a customer takes, from the search that finds you to the estimate that gets followed up. There are four services, and you can hire us for one of them. But we will always look at the others, because a gap anywhere in the chain wastes the money spent on the rest. More calls into a phone that rings out only raises what is at stake.

Everything is measured the same way: calls, booked jobs and cost per booked job, from your own records. No ranking charts dressed up as results, and no numbers promised in advance. If you want to check your own figures first, the free tools run in your browser and send nothing to us.

The four services

What we do

Each page covers the deliverables, the first 30 days, what we measure and who it is not for.

  • contractor website content

    Website content

Service pages, trade-specific copy and a homepage that answers a homeowner's question before they hit the back button.

    • Homepage that answers in five seconds
    • One service page per job
    • Job-site photos, not stock
How it works Website conversion scorecard
  • PPC for contractors

    Paid ads and performance marketing

Google Search, Local Services Ads and Meta run against cost per booked job, with tracking that ties each dollar to a phone call.

    • Google Search and Local Services Ads
    • Call tracking before changes
    • Cost per booked job by campaign

How they fit together

A lead has to be found, convinced, answered and followed up

Money spent on one link is wasted if the next one breaks. This is the chain we look at, whichever service you hire us for.

  1. 01

    Found

    Does the homeowner see you?

In the map, the search results or an ad, at the moment they need the job done.

  2. 02

    Convinced

Does the page make them call?

The job named, the area confirmed, real photos, and a phone number one tap away.

  3. 03

    Answered

    Does someone pick up?

A person or a fast reply, before they dial the next name on the list.

  4. 04

    Followed up

    Does the estimate get chased?

The quote, the maintenance visit and the callback that turn an inquiry into a job.

The process

How working with us goes

The same four steps whichever service you start with. Each service page shows its own first 30 days.

  1. First

    A conversation

You tell us your trade, your market, what you spend to make the phone ring and what you want more of. We tell you honestly whether we can help.

  2. Then

    We look before we sell

With your permission we read what exists: your Google Business Profile, your ad account, your site and your phone logs. Often much of the answer is already in there.

  3. Next

    A plan in plain language

What we would fix first and why, what we would leave alone, what we need from you, and how we will measure it. You decide what we take on.

  4. Every month

    Work, then report

We do the work ourselves and report in calls, booked jobs and cost per booked job. If something is not working, the report says so.

FAQ

Questions about working with us

Do I have to buy all four services?

No. You may only need one or two. We will suggest where to start based on what we find, and it is often the cheapest fix rather than the biggest engagement.

Which service should I start with?

Usually wherever the biggest gap is. If calls ring out, fix that before buying more of them. If the phone is quiet, start with search or ads. If traffic arrives but nobody calls, start with the pages. The first conversation is how we find out.

Why don't you list prices?

Because the work depends on what you already have. A contractor with a solid site and a neglected profile needs something very different from one starting from nothing. We quote once we have seen your setup.

Who will we actually work with?

The two of us: Trevor McReynolds, who does the technical, search and ads work, and Rodolfo Cervantes, who works on process and how your team handles inquiries. There is no account manager in between.

Do you only work with these five trades?

Our pages and tools are written for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing and landscaping companies. If your business runs the same way, on calls, estimates and trucks, talk to us anyway.

How do you report results?

In calls, booked jobs and cost per booked job, from tracking we set up and your own job records. We do not report rankings, impressions or clicks as results, and we do not promise numbers in advance.

Next step

Tell us what you're running. We'll show you where it leaks.

Send a note with your trade, your market and what you spend to make the phone ring. We reply within one business day, Pacific time.
